Our Landscape Design Process

What to Expect

We use a structured approach to landscape design, ensuring effective communications, collaboration, and successful project outcomes.

Online questionnaire for client to fill out
Onsite visits for photographs, videos, and discussion of the project
Design Vision – Summary of information received either from meeting with the client, notes, and of course the completed client questionnaire
Drone Survey – We will fly a drone over your property, then create a digitally overlayed, marked up, and annotated document over the drone or satellite image
Conceptual Design – An unrendered, often black and white plan drawing depicting a rough draft of the proposed features and elements in the design, incorporating insights from the design vision and questionnaire
Revision – After reviewing the preliminary design concepts in light of feedback and internal assessments, the design team will refine and revise the proposed plans
Master Plan – A rendered, often color plan drawing depicting a comprehensive drawing of the proposed features and elements in the design. It includes a plant and material palette as well as a cost estimate document
Design Presentation – A compiled design package, often featuring a rendered, color plan drawing, encompassing the proposed features and elements of the design, as well as all other proposed documents will be presented to the client
